Almer Biology RePeter Katsnelson
Almer The Mob Bucket’s Diet: Almer eats one thing and one thing only: canned beans. And not just any canned beans. To be completely Frank, Almer is the only one in the entire species of Almers that has this diet, but that’s somewhat irrelevant. Anyway, Almer eats canned beans that have been microwaved for exactly 1:30 minutes, and they must be served in a glass bowl so he can eat the bowl along with the beans. Black beans are preferred. Over all, Almer eats beans. What more is there to say?
The Discovery of Almer by Harine Iynkkaran
Almer was first found in the forest near a huge river and tall trees. Scientists figured out that Almer's species was found near many ocean shores. This species would never be able to live without a body of water. Turns out that they are nocturnal and try to avoid daylight.
An Almer Story by Silvana Sabzevari
Elmer was a normal monster until one day human’s decided to break into Elmer’s cave & beat Elmer up. That day Elmer felt something, & that something was called anger. Elmer asked the men to leave but they didn’t. Elmer, who was lazy, wanted to take a nap, but he couldn’t. So Elmer grew to a colossal size & flyed in the sky because somehow Elmer got wings. Then Elmer breathed fire on them & ate those men for dinner. Ever since that day Elmer learned something, if someone is annoying you, you should eat them. Ever since that day people were scared of Elmer & taught their children to never ever wander off & get lost. Or else they will get eaten by some random goat.
THE END
Another Almer Story by Silvana Sabzevari
Elmer was a normal monster until one day he saw a girl who was trapped in the fire. Clearly since the fire department was weak, the girl had no hope. But luckily for her Elmer witnessed the girl's cries for help. Elmer soared out of the cave since Elmer has bat wings & used his ice breath to freeze the fire. Then Elmer shrunk back to normal because apparently Elmer already grew big & carried the girl out of the building.

Yet Another Story of Almer the Mob Bucket by Eli Smart
The party stomps through the woods
“Feend!!!” The swordsman says “SHOW YOURSELF!!!” He raises his sword valiantly
“Come now, or are you too AFRAID??” The female archer shoots an arrow into the sky. Her eyes dart around looking for the creature
“G-g-g-g-g-g-uys???” A bard shakes as they hide behind the swordsman. “I-i-i-i-it’s right there!!”
The ground shakes, trees move to the side like a curtain as ALMER LOOMS OVER THE PARTY
“w- what do you want I’m trying to rest!” Almer rubs their eyes
“WE” the swords man dances in place and then strikes a DRAMATIC POSE “ARE HERE TO SLAY YOU?”
“W-why?” Almer glares at them annoyed.
“Simple fool” the archer smirks “the price on your head is great”
“H-how is there a price on my head I don’t” Almer looks around for a tag “I don’t see now…”
“It’s not there physically…” The bard says
“OH!!!” Elmer snaps their fingers “thank you bard!!!”
“ENOGUH!!!!” The swordsman’s sword scraps the edge of his hilt and fly’s forward. Stopping in front of him. “YOU SHALL DIE!!!”
The swordsman charges.
“W-wait!” The cowardly bard, buckling at the knees stands up. “I- I dunno they seem kinda nice”
“The nice thing will be the money we get!!!” The archer shoots an arrow at almer. Ait hits almer as quick as it bounces off them
“T-that’s not gonna work” Almer shrinks and pats the archer on the head. “Sorry buddy”
The archer looks at the bard “YOU. Since YOU want to let this creature LIVE you must take them down”
Almer pushes past the archer “Or…. You come be friends with me!!”
The bard looks at both the archer, then at Almer, then the archer, then almer, archer, almer etc. Sweat runs down their face as the choice looms over them.
“I…I” the bard can barely speak “I’M GOING TO GO WITH ALMER”
Almer smiles, the archer does an upside down smile. The swordsman falls and says “NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”
Almer and the cowardly bard walk off into the sunset. Best friends forever.

Last Moments
By Sabina Ault
I see the moments fleet by me
I hear the sirens take over me
I feel the people rush to my side
As my future dims
And my heart stops
All light fades away
All sound flies away
And life takes a turn
To lead me away
To lead me to an unknown place
That only humans can imagine

THE HISTORY OF DYING
Dying was invented in 13666 BC when a guy named Gerald a la mop bucket invented it. At that time everyone was an Immortal. Until Gerald who was 207 years old. (Which is relatively young) decided to go to the museum. Locked up behind bars was the globe of immortality. Since he was dumb he decided to touch it. Somehow he managed to get through security and the laser beams. Since it was very delicate, it cracked and turned Immortality into Morality. So since he was so old he died. Along with 99+% of the population. So that is how dying was invented. And how mops were invented too.
THE HISTORY OF HOMES
There was this man who was walking in a forest & then decided that he didn’t want to walk in the forest anymore. So he decided he would sit in the forest. So he sat down. But then he got wet because it was raining and there was mud on the forest floor. So he decided to invent something called a chair. So he cut down a tree. Then it became a chair because that’s how life works. He sat down on his chair. He then noticed that there was still mud on the floor and his feet could still feel it. So then he got the brilliant idea to create an actual floor. He got some leaves and turned them into a carpet because that’s how nature works. Then the rain turned into a thunderstorm. He got struck by lightning. He became very annoyed and decided to get some water and turn it into a roof. Because that’s how physics works. Then a grizzly bear came and mauled him until he was bleeding. Then he decided to create a wall. He ate the grizzly bear and spit him out, turning his fur into walls. Because that’s the food chain. Then a tornado came and so did a hurricane. Then he decided to get some sand (glass is heated sand) & sculpt it and some mud & turn it into a window which dried immediately because that’s how time works. Then his twin entered the shack. In his opinion, it was the worst thing that had happened today. Out of anger, some rope appeared in his hand because that’s how magic works & tied his twin up and turned her into a door using his powers. Because that’s how superpowers work. So that’s how homes were invented. Be grateful.
THE HISTORY OF HUMANS
There was once a ghost named Sarah. Sarah longed to be able to touch things. Sure possessing people was somewhat fun, but she longed to be human. All her brothers laughed at her hopes & dreams, but this did not stop her dreams. She found a dead ape & possessed his body. Without anyone controlling the body, she could stay for as long as she wanted. Soon after her brothers stopped mocking her & joined her too. So that is how Sarah became the first human & how they were created.
THE HISTORY OF KIWIS
There was a girl named Kiki Wawehwul, one day decided to go on a hike. She was 15 and had black hair and umber eyes and loved nature. So she walked up a fuzzy brown hill, that appeared to be covered in short cattails. The grass/cattails started to feel very itchy, but she continued to walk. She felt a sting and a rash on her ankles. Curious of what could possibly be underneath her she then decided to dig a hole and found an acidic green center to the hill. She decided to grab a handful and put it in her mouth. But she was very allergic and got hives. She named it a Kiwi, a combination of her first and last name. Although she was still in the hospital.
THE HISTORY OF PAPER
Once there was a huntsman who chopped down trees. One day he came to a magnificent tree, it was huge, thousands of meters high & 13 meters wide. So obviously this huntsman wanted to cut down the tree & eat it for dinner. As you can tell, a huntsman's diet is rather messed up. So he hit the tree with his axe. Nothing happened. So then attempted to slice it with a sword. Nothing happened. THen he tried to stab it with a knife. Nothing happened. So he got an arrow & launched it. Nothing happened. He then got a machine gun & shot the tree. Something happened. The tree began to wobble. Before it could fall down & the huntsman could yell timber, the tree was struck by lightning & turned into thousands of sheets of paper. Despite how weird & strange a huntsmans diet was like. Paper was not on it. So then the huntsman cried. And then he too got struck by lightning. This is why you should never go outside during a thunderstorm, let alone hide or go near a tree or forest. Also never waste paper! Paper is expensive! You’re gonna kill trees! This piece of paper is one tree… YOU JUST KILLED A TREE!
THE HISTORY OF SQUARE ROOTS AND GEOLOGY
There was a boy named A.P Calculus. Annoying Person Calculus & his best friend Jewel Geology. That day the 7th grade went on a field trip to the Griffith Woods candy factory. A.P Calculus decided to visit the office instead of indulging in candy like the rest of the grade. Jewel was interested in this thing called rock candy, then it hit her. She could create an actual rock an inedible rock. Also never eat rocks. A.P Calculus hated candy and loathed the other 7th graders. Then before they left the factory they were tasked with creating a kind of candy. But Jewel & A.P Calculus decided to do something else instead. Jewel pretended to create rock candy but create 3 kinds of rocks (Igneous, metamorphic & sedimentary). A.P Calculus then decided to do math instead. Then he yelled, “I created a square root.” & then the jr high teachers fell in love with it and forced their students to do math, science & humanities instead of visiting candy factories like elementary students. And to this day, no one likes Calculus or doing it, not even Jewel, his only friend decided to ditch him for geology, gemstones & rocks. Because they rock.
THE HISTORY OF TRAMPOLINES
There once was a boy named Brad. He was thirteen, & was bored. Suddenly, he got an idea. He did some cooking & ended up making some sticky taffy. Then he did some online shopping. Finally he found what he was looking for. He went to some creepy shop in the middle of nowhere & picked it up. He wasn’t suspicious because it was only two dollars. Inside the shopping bag was a size ray thingamabob. He used it to turn his taffy into a huge bouncy circle. So that’s how Brad invented trampolines. Oh yeah, & kids always trust creepy websites when online shopping. Just kidding.

CHOCOLATE AND TEARS
Veronica skipped across the clouds, her feet sinking into their spongy pink fluf. "Mooky! can you turn on the chocolate top?" Mookie complied and silky chocolate streamed down through the clouds, dripping into the mocha lake below.
Veronica dove though the clouds, sliding down the stream of chocolate. She landed in a ball pit of marshmallows laughing. She threw a marshmallow after marshmallow at the assassin. It landed in its joints, and the cyborg began to break down. Fizzing and sparking going through it.
"My best friend is dead because of my stupidity. What will I tell his family?"
I trudged back to my village through the desolate street, devoid of all sound as if in respect for my loss. Still carrying his body I waded my way to his parents' house and knocked on the door. His mother opened it and the tears still on my cheeks told her everything she needed to know about the magical dragons. About how my sister was take away, my mother still in tears. Everything came crashing down. I had no way of getting her bak, much less comforting my mother that everything would be alright. I just sat there sobbing, hoping that my sister would find a way to survive, or come back home for us. The whole world seemed to dim a lot knowing that that was probably the last time I would ever see her.

SPEAKING WITH ANIMALS
"Oh! My! What is this bright light?" I was in my cage then the man with the glasses hit me with that light.
How do I know this? Turtles can't speak English. There are many creatures in this world that can converse with humans, so I try to speak with it. It didn't respond and slowly moved through the course sand. It was a very hot day and I was beginning to get very tired. I just wanted to lay in bed and pretend like nothing was happening. how different would it feel when time passed by peacefully, awaiting a beautiful day. I took a deep breath in and sighed it all out. Even if I was still in the present, maybe oned ay, I wouldn't have to fight. I sat and watched, not sure what would happen. I knew that I would fight my way out if I had to. Gasping for breath, I reached into my weapon's belt and pulled out several throwing knives. As I reared my hand back to throw, something struck me in the back, hard. All the remaining air was knocked out and now I really couldn't breath I cried out and fell to my knees, daggers falling out of my hands. The last thing I saw before I went under was a single glittering star.

READING A BOOK
The spaceship touched the ground of the rocky planet. Malev slid on his helmet and elft the craft. The thick dusty poison atmosphere filled his vision as he made his way to the plinth. A single orb lay on top. The impossible orb. It's mass = 0 and it was made of unbreakable glass. But inside lay a singularity. Malev took the orb.
The orb was supposedly the reason this all happened. The tool God used to create the world. The person who held it could do anything they wanted. It had the power to destroy the world. It could cause chaos and death, painting the land in the blood of humanity. Of course they would have to reach it first in this land of peace, where everything was calm and practical.
I walked down the sidewalk, reading my book, and the complete opposite of calm and practical happened - Police yelled through a megaphone, demanding that I leave the sight immediately. I ran away wondering if I could someday figure out why everything was happening. One day I will know.

TRAPPED
Tala sat staring out into the plains a small herd at zebra grazed near the great old tree. The sun was slowly sinking behind the horizon. A flock of birds flew slowly across the sunset, a gentle breeze made the dry savanna grass blow. Pod light sparkled in the shimmering waters of the oasis, casting everything in a soft, warm glow. The glow grew larger, until it engulfed the whole room. She shook when it brushed against her arm. She was trapped, but she didn't want to give in to its pull. If she let the light in, it would engulf her. Banging resounded across the door, and she screamed as the wall broke and a light-person burst through. She began to burn up, screaming as her hands blistered while pushing the figure away. I was terrified but as I ran I realized if I died here today I was okay with that. It slowed as it caught up with me and pounced on my back, as darkness seeped into my vision. I came to term with the reaper and pitched headfirst into the void.

SWIMMING
In the clouds above, lived the most beautiful castle of all time. It mostly consisted of mist and clouds. Every room was magical and misty, as if it was made of dreams. Sat on the throne room, a god sits supervising every moment and defiles that which befalls the castle.
The ruler grumpily watched watched as a lonely servant creeped nervously, she was holding a small platter of food. As she ate her grilled steak and mashed potatoes. She looked out of the window. The rising sun cast a brilliant light across the Ocean, making the lazy waves glitter like a thousand diamonds.
Diamonds made of hard candy that tasted of the sweetest sugar imaginable. She dove into the wave, tasting every spice in the rainbow, and swimming to the bottom until she was full. She slid off the platform and landed on the edge of the pool. All of a sudden, alarms went and everyone froze. She tried to swim away but the ceiling collapsed and took her arm. She could not swim any longer and her world faded to black as something pierced her spine.

INVATION OF THE MARTIANS
was on the edge of death, the enemy invaded the city of Canada. The only person alive was me moaning VS 2000 Martians. But with my with my sword and bow I deterred them. Nothing would be able to stand in my way, for my skills and techniques are legendary. Soon afterward, I made my way to the local store and bought an apple. My long silver sword swung back onto my back as I left. I fell to the ground, my teeth clashed together as my jaw hit the floor, pain roared in my back and mouth, I hard the harsh laugh of the villain who had struck me. I looked up, eyes wide with fear. the glittering point of a dagger just barely touched my throat. A single drop of blood welled up and rand down my chest. My family wouldn't hear if I'd be wounded, or captured. I would be left to rot enemy cells. Mustering all my strength, I pumped my fist in the air. "Charge!" I yelled, thrusting myself deep into the thick of my enemies. I knew I was dead. Each slice burned through me, making me weaker, "I'll finally get to see her again." I thought a blade went straight through my arm. I screamed as flames burned my body, but it was cut short as the flames stopped. the soldiers bound my body and took my limbless body away.
was on the edge of death, the enemy invaded the city of Canada. FEAR IN THE FOREST
A vast forest. Giant trees and soft moss, leaves and animals can be heard moving in the bushes The underground tunnels of the pestilence snake through the land, going on for miles. Crumbling ruins stand hauntingly above time to rest. They are coming.
Quickly, they crashed through the forest, panting hard. If they were caught, there would be no escape. Their soul would be ripped from their ribcage, leaving an empty hole where feeling should be. If they were caught, they would become one of the untethered.
The untethered floated through the air, empty soulless eyes staring. They moaned and a black knife came flying. The blade pierced my friend's shoulder and she began to scream as she dissolved. I ran. I had seen to much death today but I would come back with help and guns to exact vengeance form my friend! But first I needed to run! Tripping over roots and branches, stumbling on uneven ground, I sprinted as fast as I could from the monsters. Looking for peace at last.

ONE OF THE MONSTERS
Pearson woke up to a pounding headache. He felt as if his thoughts were trying to break out of his skull, and the retched smell of the inn didn't help him feel any better. He got out of bed and steadied himself with the wall. The lantern hanging from the ceiling was the only light he could see. Suddenly, he felt frantic about what could be awaiting him as the shadow beast crawled from the corner. Everything seemed to darken as his breathing turned unstable. A cockroach passed by the beast and suddenly withered.
Pearson's lungs screamed, telling him to breathe! His head was spinning as he watched the cockroach die in front of him. He struggled to his feet, breathing hard, every breath feeling as though a knife was slashing through him.
His lungs screamed for air. He scrambled away feeling for anything he could defend himself with. Sweat ran down his brow as he located a frying pan and brought it down.
It worked. He stared. He had defeated his enemy. His chest swelled. Pearson dropped the frying pan at his side as the weight of what he had done crushed down on him. There was a time when he never would have done what he did. But now his arms ached and stretched, becoming tentacles that wrapped around his prey. He winced as they flew of their own accord, snapping it up for his supper. He fought against them. But now, he was one of them.

ALIEN POV by Coen Hulsker
I exited my craft outside an odd looking outcrop of stone. Some was flat and black, and in other places rough and yellow. When I placed my limb on certain parts of the rock, it moved inside. There were colours and symbols that I could never hope to understand.

THE MAZE by Hassan Kurwa
The cars rushed by as we tried to figure out the maze before us. Bright yellow tape spanned across two blocks and tall people in police uniforms stood in front. We did a U turn and drove passed the gardens of people with far more time than us. As we made another turn we realized that we faced the same situation, same yellow tape, same police, same dead end. Finally one more right turn and a straight line of driving led us right to the key, the secret to all power - the parking lot. After securing our victory, we entered the building. Modern and classic architecture was mixed throughout the building. Tall arches overlooked some entrances. White abstract art layered onto glass was in the floor.

TWO POINTS OF VIEW by Katelynn Yip
Human Point of View: This building had some marble and glass like feeling. As if I traveled back in time to ancient England. Each door was like huge metal gate doors leading me into some air conditioned school hallway. Then, inside the elevator, I looked up and saw some coral like imagery displayed. It reminded me of the blue tinted glass I walk around because it felt like water was what I would actually step in. Once I stepped out of the elevator, I saw rows of classrooms lined across the hall. the walls and the grandeur made this building feel as if it were actually a museum turned into some school.
Alien Point of View: When I wandered in front of this huge rock, I was amazed, there were some transparent holes and ight shining from the inside. As soon as I entered my skin felt a cool sensation. Suddenly, I came into shock. The interior was so fruity, yet it made me feel like I was everywhere at once. There was a slight buzzing. As I listened more closely, a muffled vice filled with enthusiasm from up top. Maybe this strange rock was trying to send me some sort of message.

BUILDING TWO WAYS by Finn Quennell
Human View: As I stepped through my front door and entered y car, a sense of finality washed through me. I wouldn't be able to see this place for several hours. Sitting in the car blinded by the sun's shining light, I contemplated the work that I would soon be doing. Worrying frantically about when I would get there. I saw the familiar building that me and my father pulled up to as we had one week prior. A group of adults were gathered at the front door. We walked with them through the entryway and to the stairs. My father rushing me forward. I walked briskly up the stairs admiring the artwork on the walls and the morning light morning light painting the walls in a soft light. I did not take the time to absorb my surroundings as I was hurrying to my class.
Alien View: I had just landed on this planet which I have heard referred to as Earth. I needed shelter from the sun as it would kill me in a matter of minutes. Peering out from my damaged ship I saw a large structure made in the oddest fashion. It was full of holes in the walls and had no viable place for me to enter through. The building was made from wood and a stone like material. I ran to one of the holes and found it covered in a see through substance.

LOOKING FOR GAS by Mariah Anderson
My space ship just crashed outside of this very weird looking building. I walked into it looking for gas. As I walked into the building (in my human costume) a female human pushed a sliver button and the door opened in the wall like magic! I walked up the stairs, and there was lots of weird art on the walls, that when I left. I'll find my gas elsewhere.

THE MARTIAN by Tobe Ukpabi
I am an alien. I walk in. I see all these things on the wall. Oh, and by the way, I am from Mars. I see something on the floor. I think it is glass. yeah, I remember one of my alien friends calling it that.

The Mysterious Mansion by Silvana Sabzevari
“Come on Lucas!” I yell. “Coming!” My little brother races towards me. I dribble my basketball & shoot it in the hoop. Me & my brother are on the driveway, our parents are on a date so we're home alone. A wolf howls startling Lucas. He yelps. I snicker at him. “Relax, it's nothing.” I attempt to comfort him. “Eric, can we get ice cream?” He asks. “At 10PM, you must be joking.” “Please,” he does his puppy eyes, tears forming in his eyes. He has a talent for fake crying. “Stop it! I can’t resist the puppy eyes!” I protest, but it’s no use. Finally I relented & went inside to get my wallet. “Fine, we can go to stupid store & get you a stupid ice cream.” “Yay!” He cheers. We start walking, unfortunately it wasn’t a while until I realized I had no idea where stupid store was. I should have used a G.P.S. We see 4 boys who seem a bit older than me & a girl who seemed to be a teenager biked towards us.
“Where are you two going?” One of them asks. “My name is Eric & this is my little brother Lucas. “I’m Robert.” The same dude said, “And this is my big sister Mae, my little brother Keanu,” “By 10 months.” He corrected. “Right, & my best friends Fergus & Cree, they’re identical twins.” He introduced. “So what brings you two here?” I nervously smiled. “The truth is we were going to go to stupid store to get my brother ice cream, but I was stupid & didn’t use a G.P.S. “No prob, we have ice cream.” Robert said.
We devoured numerous popsicles until we had to stop because we had stomach aches. Keanu burped. “So y’all we were about to go to this mysterious abandoned house. You know they might have ancient treasure.” “Sick.” I say, “what are we waiting for, let’s go.”
The haunted house Keanu was talking about was huge. It was painted a sickening grey, the windows were broken & it had loose shrubs growing all around it. The wind blew around us. It was the beginning of December, (no snow though) & the sky was already pitch black. We shivered & hesitantly walked in. The wooden barn-like door swung open & closed behind us locking. “Okay the creepiness of this place just went from a 5 to a bleh.” I queried. We decided to tip toe up the stairs. We felt that at any moment the stairs would collapse. We clung onto the railings & pushed ourselves upstairs. We saw a door right in front of the stairs. We heard a bang from inside of it. Nervously, we decided to see what was there. Carefully, Lucas untwisted the door knob. “Now!” Mae yelled. He pulled the door open & a gust of wind blew everyone back. “Is everyone okay?” I asked. “My sister’s gone!” Robert panicked. “I think we should go.” Fergus jittered. “Sure, but the doors are locked.” Cree protested. “That doesn’t mean we’re going to stay here.” Keanu started punching the walls & then everyone did too.
“Hey, there’s a plant over here.” Keanu pointed out as he walked towards it. “At least something in this house hasn’t died yet.” “Keanu wait!” Robert yelled. But it was too late, the plant burst out of it’s vase & strangled Keanu, choking him. His face turned purple then blue, then red. His head popped off his body, leaving blood everywhere. “Ahhh!” They screamed. “Run!” Lucas screamed. We ran back up the stairs & locked ourselves in the room. “Great idea Lucas, in a horror movie whenever the main characters lock themselves in a room they always lock the monster in the room with them, & bam! We’ll get tortured like my brother & sister.” I rolled my eyes & watched the two of them bicker. “Guys!” Fergus shouted, “we locked my brother out of this room.” We heard Cree’s screech. “I’m coming bro!” He kicked the door open & saw his brother hung on the chandelier above him, his blood dripping. A large spider sneaked up on him. Casting a large shadow which they did notice. “Fergus! Come back, it’s too late for Cree, but not for you.” I said, holding the door ajar. “If you mess with my twin, you mess with me.” Fergus raced towards the spider but the spider twisted his arms & legs around his body, shattering his bones, then he wrapped him in cobwebs & proceeded to eat him like a fly. Silently the rest of us snuck off. Robert however, ran away screaming & locked himself into a room. “Finally I’m safe, those dweebs can commit suicide, while I’ll be safe & sound inside-_” A figure eight feet tall approached him. We heard the scream. The shadow of a boy we saw. Which was being strangled by a giant. We ran to the attic as fast as we could, but Lucas just had to bump into something…
It’s an enormous mirror. But something in it keeps looking back at you. An unfamiliar face, not from the human race. A ghost with skin pale white, not going down without a fight. It looked just like Mae, brown hair, blue eyes, an innocent smile. Her skin went pale. Her blood went stale. Next thing you know, she is now your foe. By the time I finish my poetic verse, the curse becomes worse.
“Wow. So that’s where Mae went.” Lucas said. I touched the mirror, but when I did, all of the pieces shattered, the shards collapsing. I witnessed what happened next with my own eyes. As midnight struck, so did bats. Lucas’s skin was ripped off. Layer by layer with their razor sharp claws. His blood & veins began to drip away & dry out. The bats munched on the meat, bones & everything else. Once the bats cleared & Lucas’s screams had faded, all that was left was a few scraps of his ruptured clothes.
Two murderers with guns walked towards me. I ran away & they proceeded to chase me. I raced down the stairs back to the second floor. Then to the first. I tried to get out but they blocked me. I had no choice. I had to go into the basement. It was a dead end. They cornered me. I tried to scream but nothing came out, the taller one loaded his gun. BOO-_
I woke up, slamming my head on the bed shelf behind my pillow & bed. I rubbed my head in pain. I barely remembered anything from my dream. “Eric! Eric! Wake up!” Lucas exclaimed. “My new friends Robert & Keanu are coming over for a playdate.” I screamed.

OF OMELETTES, LOVE, & MURDER by the Rogue Poetry camp
(Nimue Maus, Nyah Lupick, Eli Smart, and Em Williamson)
Everyone leaves the room
Seagulls poop on unsuspecting heads
It drips down my back forming a coating on my spine
I smile, then sell my hotdog
It's hot
Just like my potatoes
When you think about it,
Ukulele strings are just like intestines
You pluck them like picking at a scab
Even if I have to kill to do it...
*Fart noises*
I'm grossed out from by baby brother
He probably has to wipe his butt a little
How many times a day can a kid possibly poop himself?
A fine companion to the human flesh that graces my life moments earlier
I will never fall for your trick!
I will protect her from strangers and myself.
Kill ya! Kill you! Kill you! Kill you! Kill you! Kill ya! Kill you!
My breath hitches as I look at what I've done.
I love it! I have no remorse!
The brass strings sing to me
It's a ballad carved roughly into the skin of our enemies
The music moves me into the blood
What? Did it smell that bad?
Everything the perfect Omelette and I'm never going to give her up.
I wish I could give up, but my body forces me to sit and stare in indifference
to happy thoughts of kill you!
By that time, it was already too late
I have fallen in love
Bathe in their blood! Mwahahahahahahahaaaa!
I don't want to think on it
Madness catches me. I smile at the thought.
Egg drips from my chin, like rain from a gutter
But if you lost her too, where would you end up
Beyond that of losing you to her
And it hurts
to make a cake
Or I'll surely lose my mind
That we are growing to adulthood
I found the body on the corner of 9th street, hidden behind a trashcan
I was a born killer all along, after all
Combine seven eggs with butter, flour, and the blood of a virgin
And I can't help but want to give up then and there
Painting my skin a dark crimson
The legacy of our battle that is shown as new rumours pass by
Everyone leaves the room
Seagulls poop on unsuspecting heads

Duck by Silvana Sabzevari
My name is March Marichka & ever since I was born I wanted to be a duck, yes it may sound weird, but ducks are superior to humans. They can fly, breathe underwater & yell at humans. Instead of buying food, people are fighting just to feed you. Sadly only the top graduate & get transformed into magic ducks. My Dad is a duck, so I already have a really good chance of becoming a duck. To become a duck you have to be a straight E student (AKA be stupid,) be feathery, hold your breath for 19 minutes, & hate & want to overthrow humanity. When you’re a duck, everything is basic & you don’t have to think at all. When I turn 12 next week instead of going to 7th grade & yelling you’re adopted, I’m going to go to duck school. To get my acceptance letter sent, I need to start earning bottom grades. Ducks are great because you’re never made fun of because of the way you look, because you look as ugly as heck. One day I will become a duck & take over the world. No more halloween costumes, just pure bird poop.
Magnetic Poetry
15 ways to get into a boyband by The Rogue Poets Club
- Find a band, obviously. Make sure you get all the tropes: the bad boy, the flirt, the funny one, team mom, Gerard way, and of course the one you wanna hug like a kitten.
- Have really great energy, like heartthrob energy. Practise winking and blowing kisses in the mirror. If you can, become Timothee Chalamet
- Find a place to perform. The street outside your home DOES count.
- Become so perfectly rockin’ that Twitter unironically starts stanning you - and make sure your fancams surpass a million views
- Come up with some kind of short, catchy phrase you can put on a shirt so that you can start selling merch as quickly as possible - like “It’s our time - Time2Time’s time.”
- Start only eating at restaurants with tablecloths, so everyone knows you have money - even if you don’t have any and you end up having to make all your own costumes by hand because the budget ran out
- You won’t have enough money for a real car now, but get a cardboard cutout of one and pose with it to really drive the point home
- Write a song, Remember to make it about undying love too. That’ll win you boyband points
- Be painfully vague at all times - Elton John style. Never clarify who your songs are about, and make vague references to having “started from the bottom” but never actually explain what you mean. That’ll get you even more boyband points.
- Always drink pop instead of water
- When you collect enough boyband points, trade them in for a brand new Tesla (but keep the cardboard cutout just in case.) However, don’t actually drive the Tesla. Only take pictures with it.
- Look the part. Sunglasses and ripped jeans are mandatory. Matching jean jackets to go with the ripped jeans are optional.
- Have one of your members get tattoos and become the “edgy one,” but only after the group gains enough momentum so people won’t really mind
- When you start having your lyrics written for you, never ever question what they’re about. Even if it seems like they’re being generated by machines at this point.
- Really hype up your audience. Jumping up and down like a madman will surely do that, and then also you won’t have to learn how to dance.
- Milk things for waaay longer than you say you’re going to. Just like this poem.
- Do that thing where you point the microphone towards the audience, they love that
- Drop your mic. They love that too
